Ohana Water Polo Academy is excited to offer an ASL Water Polo Clinic, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where athletes can learn the fundamentals of water polo while incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) into their experience.

This clinic is designed for athletes ages 12–18 who are new to water polo. No prior water polo experience is required! Athletes will learn the basics of the sport while being introduced to essential water polo terminology and commands in ASL through fun, engaging drills, games, and skill-building activities.

Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels included, supported, and part of the team. Through water polo and ASL, athletes will develop communication skills, teamwork, confidence, and respect while discovering a fun new sport.

What Athletes Can Expect

Learn the basics of water polo in a fun, supportive environment.

Learn essential water polo terminology and commands using American Sign

Language.

Practice passing, shooting, ball handling, and defensive skills.

Participate in fun team activities, games, and cooperative drills.

Develop new skills and confidence both in and out of the pool.
